Year 2015 – Present
After Farid Alizade resigned from his presidency of WAF in 2015, Nizami Jafarov, a Member of the Parliament of the Azerbaijan Republic and Head of the Azerbaijan Ataturk Center, took over as the president of the World Alpagut Federation. Farid Alizade was bestowed with the title “Toraman Bashad” and appointed as the Honorary President of the Federation during Nizami Jafarov’s tenure.
Today, Farid Alizade is also a Board Member of the World Alpagut Federation.
